Product Description

MYS5-385/20-3P+NPE Series Modular Surge Protective Device

The MYS5-385/20-3P+NPE series is a modular surge protective device for TT and TN systems, featuring a "3+1" circuit configuration. It is designed for Type 2 (Class II) surge protection in 230V/50/60Hz low-voltage distribution systems, compliant with EN 61643-11 and IEC 61643-11.

With a maximum continuous operating voltage Uc of 385V, nominal discharge current In of 20kA (8/20μs), maximum discharge current Imax of 40kA (8/20μs), voltage protection level Up ≤ 1.9kV, and response time ≤ 25ns, the device effectively discharges surge energy caused by lightning strikes and switching overvoltages, protecting downstream equipment.

The device is mounted on 35mm DIN rail (according to EN 60715). The housing is made of UL 94 V-0 flame-retardant thermoplastic material, with IP20 degree of protection, suitable for indoor installation. A green/red operating status and fault indicator allows easy on-site inspection. The terminals accept 1.5mm² to 35mm² stranded / 25mm² flexible conductors, with M5 screw holes and a torque of 3.0Nm±10%.

The NS version is additionally equipped with a remote signaling function, providing a floating changeover contact (125VAC/1A, 30VDC/0.5A). The remote signaling terminal has a cross-section of 0.2mm², with M2 screw holes and a torque of 0.25Nm, enabling the SPD fault status to be transmitted to monitoring systems for centralized monitoring and maintenance.

With an operating temperature range of -40℃ to +70℃, the series is suitable for Type 2 surge protection in low-voltage distribution systems of industrial and civil buildings.
