Application
 
Power station type arresters are suitable for high-voltage environments such as power transmission, substation, and distribution stations. When an overvoltage occurs in the system and the peak value exceeds the gap discharge voltage, the gap of the arrester is broken down, and the impulse current flows into the earth through the valve plate. Due to the nonlinear characteristics of the valve plate, the valve type arrester can effectively protect the equipment.
