The Lightning Surge Protective Device Decoupler Series JOQ 50A is a coupling device widely used in multi-level protection lines for power distribution systems with current less than 63A. When lightning current invades the line, the installed decoupler ensures the first-level SPD acts first, releasing most of the lightning wave energy and reducing the energy burden on the second-level SPD. This coordination enables the system to handle large inrush currents with low residual voltage, protecting subsequent circuits and equipment from overvoltage damage.
