Function
The MYS5-385/20-3P (NS) is a modular surge protective device for TN-C systems. It uses a “3+0” circuit and is mainly used to discharge lightning and surge currents, limit transient overvoltages, and protect downstream low-voltage distribution equipment. Its nominal discharge current is 20 kA (8/20 μs), maximum discharge current is 40 kA, voltage protection level is ≤ 1.9 kV, and response time is ≤ 25 ns. The product has green/red operating/fault indication; the NS version also provides a floating changeover remote signaling contact for remote status monitoring and alarm.
Application
It is suitable for 230/400 V (50/60 Hz) TN-C AC low-voltage distribution systems, for indoor installation, and for 35 mm DIN rail mounting. It can be widely used in industrial, commercial, and civil building distribution cabinets, control cabinets, floor distribution boxes, and other occasions, especially in distribution systems requiring remote monitoring of SPD operating status.
